Daniel Rodriguez reveals he spent eight months in Mexican jail after arrest

Daniel Rodriguez recounted being arrested at the Mexican border and subsequently spending eight months in prison, only being released last week. Rodriguez explained that he initially thought he would spend just a weekend, or even less, in custody. However, Mexican laws proved much stricter than he anticipated. What he expected to be a brief detention turned into an eight-month ordeal. Kevin Holland posted bail for Rodriguez last week, with Holland stating he did so because he wants to get a rematch with Rodriguez.
