Ray Longo criticizes Prochazka's 'mercy' excuse, Ulberg denies respect

Ray Longo, trainer to Merab Dvalishvili and Aljamain Sterling, has called out mental health concerns in MMA while criticizing Jiri Prochazka's post-fight explanation of showing "mercy" in his loss to Carlos Ulberg. Longo stated that while Prochazka's unconventional methods like standing on his head and drinking his own urine are entertaining, his "mercy" excuse was merely him making a serious mistake. Ulberg echoed this sentiment, stating that Prochazka was motivated by fear rather than mercy and was playing to the audience to secure a rematch. Ulberg revealed that Prochazka did not approach him after the fight and believes all of Prochazka's actions are calculated for public reaction. Additionally, Donald Trump reportedly told Paulo Costa after his fight that he is "too handsome to be a fighter." There are also rumors of tension at City Kickboxing gym between Israel Adesanya and Ulberg, with the two not being seen together recently.
