Russian MMA coach Andrey Pulyaev commented on Azamat Murzakanov's loss to Paulo Costa at UFC 327, suggesting that cardio preparation was the main problem. Pulyaev noted it was unfortunate for Murzakanov to lose on his birthday. He also expressed curiosity about how Costa recovered so well between the second and third rounds, stating that Costa looked exhausted after the second but came out fresh for the third. Pulyaev acknowledged he himself is not a cardio machine either.
