Ray Longo, trainer of Merab Dvalishvili and Aljamain Sterling, strongly criticized Jiri Prochazka's post-fight claim of showing mercy. Longo suggested Prochazka's unusual training methods including praying to Olympus, headstands, and drinking his own urine raise mental health concerns in MMA. He stated Prochazka simply made a severe mistake rather than showing compassion. Carlos Ulberg echoed this criticism, claiming Prochazka's mercy explanation was driven by fear and was fabricated to justify seeking a rematch. Ulberg also noted Prochazka didn't approach him after their fight and suggested all of Prochazka's actions are designed for public reaction. Additionally, President Trump reportedly told Paulo Costa after his fight that he's "too handsome to be a fighter."
