Ray Longo, coach of Merab Dvalishvili and Aljamain Sterling, has called for discussion of mental health issues in MMA while criticizing Jiri Prochazka's post-fight explanations. Longo dismissed Prochazka's claim that he showed mercy in his recent loss, stating the fighter was simply confused and badly beaten. Carlos Ulberg, who defeated Prochazka, also rejected the mercy narrative, saying Prochazka was actually motivated by fear and is playing to the crowd for a rematch. Ulberg noted that Prochazka didn't approach him after the fight and questioned the authenticity of his public persona. Additionally, Ulberg is suspected to have suffered an ACL tear with a recovery time of nine to twelve months, though official confirmation is pending this week.
