Dana White showcased the arena design for the upcoming UFC event at the White House, emphasizing that the White House will be visible in the background during fights. The stage is being built in Europe, will be shipped to Philadelphia, then trucked to Washington D.C. to be erected on the South Lawn of the White House. White stressed that UFC is funding the entire event without taxpayer money as a gift for America's 250th anniversary. Over 70,000 people have already applied for tickets on UFCfreedom250.com, with free tickets available for the Ellipse park across from the arena. The two-day fan festival will include over 100,000 fans, press conferences, weigh-ins, performances by Zac Brown Band, celebrity guests, and big-screen fight viewing.
