Dana White showcased how the arena will look for the UFC event at the White House, stating that the octagon will be built with the White House visible in the background on the South Lawn. The stage is currently being constructed in Europe, will be shipped to Philadelphia, then transported by truck to Washington D.C. White emphasized that UFC is funding the entire event with no taxpayer money, calling it a gift for America's 250th anniversary. Over 70,000 people have already applied for tickets at UFCfreedom250.com, with free tickets available at the Ellipse park across from the arena. More than 100,000 fans are expected to attend all fight week events, including a two-day fan festival featuring press conference, weigh-ins, live performance by Zac Brown Band, celebrity guests, and big screen fight viewing.
