Khamzat Chimaev revealed he spent approximately $600,000 to $700,000 constructing a wrestling gym for children in his village in Chechnya. Speaking on the "Beyond The Win" channel, Chimaev explained that he fights not only for himself but to help people, and money provides opportunities to do so. He dismissed criticism about his fighting inactivity, stating he earns millions from the UFC and even more outside the octagon through sponsorships and business opportunities. Chimaev also mentioned he helps villagers with various needs, including medical expenses when people call him for assistance.
