UFC President Dana White has shown how the arena will look for the upcoming UFC event at the White House. The stage is being constructed in Europe and will be shipped to Philadelphia before being trucked to Washington, D.C., where it will be erected on the South Lawn. White emphasized that UFC is funding the entire event privately, with no taxpayer money being used, calling it a gift to America for its 250th anniversary. Over 70,000 people have already applied for tickets on UFCfreedom250.com. Free tickets will be available for the Ellipse park across from the arena, with more than 100,000 fans expected to attend fight week events. The two-day fan festival will include a press conference, weigh-ins, and a performance by the Zac Brown Band.
