Dana White has shown the arena design for the UFC's upcoming White House event, explaining the production approach. White stated that the only requirement for his production team was ensuring the White House would be visible in the background during fights. The stage is currently being constructed in Europe before being shipped to Philadelphia and then trucked to Washington D.C. for assembly on the White House South Lawn. White emphasized that the UFC is funding the entire event without using taxpayer money, calling it a gift for America's 250th anniversary. Over 70,000 people have already applied for tickets through UFCfreedom250.com. Free tickets will be available for the Ellipse park across from the arena, with more than 100,000 fans expected to attend fight week events including a two-day fan festival, press conference, and weigh-ins. The Zac Brown Band will perform throughout the day.
