The production team located a stage currently being constructed in Europe, which will be shipped to Philadelphia and then transported by truck to Washington for assembly on the South Lawn of the White House. White stressed that UFC is covering all costs with no taxpayer money involved, framing the event as a gift for America's 250th anniversary. More than 70,000 people have already applied for tickets through UFCfreedom250.com, with free tickets available for the Ellipse park across from the arena. Over 100,000 fans are expected to attend various fight week events during the two-day fan festival, which will include a press conference, weigh-in ceremony, performances by Zac Brown Band, celebrity guests, and fight viewing on large screens.
