Dana White showcased how the arena will look for the upcoming UFC event at the White House celebrating America's 250th anniversary. The production team designed a stage being built in Europe that will be shipped to Philadelphia and then transported by truck to Washington, D.C., where it will be erected on the South Lawn of the White House with the White House visible in the background during fights. White emphasized the UFC is funding the entire event without using any taxpayer money as a gift to America. Over 70,000 people have already applied for tickets at UFCfreedom250.com, with free tickets available for the Ellipse park across from the arena that can accommodate over 100,000 fans. The two-day fan festival will include a press conference, weigh-ins, and performances by Zac Brown Band.
