Dana White showcased how the arena will look for the UFC event at the White House, emphasizing that the White House will be visible as the backdrop during fights. The stage is being constructed in Europe, will be shipped to Philadelphia, then transported by truck to Washington DC where it will be erected on the South Lawn. White stressed that UFC is paying for everything without using taxpayer money, calling it a gift for America's 250th anniversary. Over 70,000 people have already applied for tickets through UFCfreedom250.com. Free tickets will be available for the Ellipse, a large park across from the arena that can accommodate more than 100,000 fans across the fight weekend. The two-day fan festival will include press conferences, weigh-ins, performances by Zac Brown Band, celebrity guests, and big screen fight viewing.
