Dana White showcased how the arena will look for the UFC event at the White House, emphasizing the venue will be visible in the background during fights. The stage is being built in Europe, will be shipped to Philadelphia, then trucked to Washington DC for assembly on the South Lawn. White stressed that UFC is paying for everything without using taxpayer money, calling it a gift for America's 250th anniversary. Over 70,000 people have already applied for tickets at UFCfreedom250.com. Free tickets will be available at the Ellipse park across from the arena. More than 100,000 fans are expected to attend fight week events including a two-day fan festival, press conference, and weigh-ins. Zac Brown Band will perform all day, with famous guests and big-screen fight viewing planned.
