Dana White has shown how the arena will look for the historic UFC event at the White House. White explained that his only requirement for the production team was to have the White House visible in the background during fights. The custom stage is being built in Europe, then shipped to Philadelphia before being trucked to Washington DC for assembly on the South Lawn. White emphasized that UFC is funding everything privately with no taxpayer money involved, describing it as a gift for America's 250th anniversary. Over 70,000 people have already applied for tickets through UFCfreedom250.com. The Ellipse park across from the arena will offer free tickets and can accommodate over 100,000 fans across the fight weekend. The event will include a two-day fan festival featuring press conference, weigh-ins, and performances by Zac Brown Band.
