Paulo Costa demands performance bonus after Howitt gets double bonus

Paulo Costa expressed strong frustration that Josh Howitt received a double bonus for his fight with Curtis Blaydes while Costa received nothing. Costa argued that while Howitt had an excellent heavyweight bout, his own victory over the 16-0 Russian opponent via finish was more deserving of recognition. Costa stated he finished the fight early after punishing his opponent for three rounds. The Brazilian revealed he was so upset that he contacted Dana White and Hunter Campbell directly about what he considers an injustice. Costa expressed hope that UFC leadership will reconsider the decision, stating he believes they made a mistake.
