UFC President Dana White unveiled the arena design for the historic UFC event at the White House, showing how the venue will appear with the White House as the backdrop. White explained that the stage is being built in Europe, will be shipped to Philadelphia, then transported by truck to Washington D.C. for assembly on the South Lawn. He emphasized that UFC is funding the entire event privately with no taxpayer money, calling it a gift to America for its 250th anniversary. Over 70,000 people have already applied for tickets through UFCfreedom250.com, with free tickets available in the Ellipse park across from the arena. The event will feature a two-day fan festival with press conference, weigh-ins, and performances by Zac Brown Band, with more than 100,000 fans expected to attend all fight week activities.
