Dana White showcased the planned arena setup for the UFC event at the White House, emphasizing that the White House will be visible in the background during fights. The production team designed a special stage currently being built in Europe, which will be shipped to Philadelphia before being trucked to Washington D.C. and erected on the South Lawn. White stressed that the UFC is financing everything privately with no taxpayer money being used, calling it a gift to America for its 250th anniversary. Over 70,000 people have already applied for tickets through UFCfreedom250.com, with free tickets available in the Ellipse park across from the arena. More than 100,000 fans are expected to attend fight week events including a two-day fan festival, press conference, and weigh-ins, with the Zac Brown Band performing and fights shown on big screens. White emphasized this is about celebrating the United States, not politics.
