The stage is being built in Europe, then shipped to Philadelphia before being trucked to Washington, D.C., where it will be erected on the South Lawn with the White House as the backdrop. White emphasized that UFC is funding the entire event without any taxpayer money, calling it a gift to America. Over 70,000 people have already applied for tickets through UFCfreedom250.com. Free tickets will be available at the Ellipse, a large park across from the arena, with more than 100,000 fans expected across the fight weekend. The event will include a two-day fan festival featuring a press conference, weigh-ins, and a performance by Zac Brown Band.
