Dana White showcased how the arena will look for the UFC event at the White House, planned as part of America's 250th anniversary celebration. The stage is being constructed in Europe and will be shipped to Philadelphia before being trucked to Washington DC for setup on the South Lawn. White emphasized that UFC is funding the entire event without taxpayer money, calling it a gift to America's anniversary. Over 70,000 people have already applied for tickets through UFCfreedom250.com, with free tickets available for the Ellipse park area across from the arena. More than 100,000 fans are expected during the fight weekend, which will include a two-day fan festival, press conference, and weigh-in ceremony. The Zac Brown Band will perform throughout the day, and the event will feature celebrity guests and big-screen fight viewing. White stressed the event is about celebrating the United States, not politics, regardless of where people fall on the political spectrum.
