Dana White showcased the planned arena setup for the UFC's White House event celebrating America's 250th anniversary. The octagon will be positioned on the South Lawn with the White House visible in the background. The stage is being constructed in Europe, will ship to Philadelphia, then be trucked to Washington DC. White emphasized that UFC is funding the entire event without taxpayer money as a gift to the nation. Over 70,000 people have already applied for tickets at UFCfreedom250.com. Free tickets will be available for the Ellipse, a park across from the venue that can hold over 100,000 fans. The fight weekend will include a two-day fan festival, press conference, weigh-ins, and a performance by Zac Brown Band, with fights shown on a big screen.
