Dana White provided extensive details about the UFC event planned for the White House lawn to celebrate America's 250th anniversary. The stage is being constructed in Europe, will be shipped to Philadelphia, then transported by truck to Washington DC for assembly on the South Lawn. White emphasized the event is entirely UFC-funded with no taxpayer money involved. Over 70,000 people have already applied for tickets through UFCfreedom250.com. Free tickets will be available for the Ellipse park across from the arena, with over 100,000 fans expected across the fight week. The two-day fan festival will include press conferences, weigh-ins, and performances by Zac Brown Band. White stressed this is a non-political celebration of the United States.
