Quick read
Dana White has shown how the arena will look for the UFC event at the White House, scheduled as a gift for America's 250th anniversary. The production team is building a stage in Europe that will be shipped to Philadelphia and then transported to Washington D.C. to be erected on the South Lawn with the White House as backdrop. The UFC is funding the entire event with no taxpayer money. Over 70,000 people have already applied for tickets on UFCfreedom250.com, with free tickets available at the Ellipse park across from the arena. More than 100,000 fans are expected across the fight weekend, which includes a two-day fan festival, press conference, weigh-ins, and a performance by Zac Brown Band.
