Dana White showed how the arena will be constructed for the UFC event at the White House celebrating America's 250th anniversary. The octagon will be positioned with the White House as the backdrop, with a custom stage being built in Europe before being shipped to Philadelphia and then transported by truck to Washington D.C. for assembly on the South Lawn. White emphasized that the UFC is paying for everything without using taxpayer money, calling it a gift to America's 250th birthday. Over 70,000 people have already applied for tickets through UFCfreedom250.com, with free tickets available for the Ellipse park across from the arena. The two-day fan festival will include a press conference, weigh-ins, live music from Zac Brown Band, celebrity guests, and fight viewing on a large screen, expecting over 100,000 fans to attend various events throughout the fight weekend. White stressed this is about celebrating the United States, not politics.
