Islam Makhachev has responded to ongoing claims from Ilia Topuria's camp regarding their failed White House fight. Makhachev states he accepted the fight when called, but the next day was told Topuria requested an unrealistic sum of money. According to Makhachev, the UFC rejected the request and Topuria withdrew from the bout. He claims even Topuria's manager confirmed this sequence of events. Makhachev urged Topuria to stop talking, saying that in every new interview the Georgian tells a different story about what happened.
