Hamzat Chimaev clarifies he won't kill Sean Strickland in their fight

In an interview with Adam Zubairaev, Hamzat Chimaev addressed fan speculation about whether he would release a submission hold on Sean Strickland in their upcoming bout. When asked if security would need to separate them if he locked in a submission, Chimaev laughed and said he doesn't want to kill anyone because it's haram (forbidden in Islam). He clarified that while he's indifferent, officials wouldn't allow him to kill Strickland anyway. Chimaev distinguished between street fighting and sport, noting that in the cage it's regulated competition.
