Khamzat Chimaev jokes he won't kill Sean Strickland because it's forbidden in Islam

In an interview with Adam Zubairaev, Khamzat Chimaev addressed fan speculation about his upcoming fight with Sean Strickland. When asked if he would refuse to release a submission hold on Strickland, requiring security to intervene, Chimaev responded with humor. He stated that he does not want to kill anyone because it is haram (forbidden in Islam). When pressed on whether he plans to kill Strickland, Chimaev joked that he wouldn't be allowed to do so anyway. He added that on the street someone might die, but in the cage it's just a sport, suggesting he will compete within the rules of MMA competition.
