Joël Alvarez and Benoît Saint Denis training together in France

Joël Alvarez and Benoît Saint Denis have begun a joint training camp in Bayonne, France, under coach Nicolas Ott. The two were originally scheduled to fight each other a year ago, but that matchup never materialized. Alvarez is preparing for his UFC 328 bout against Yaroslav Amosov on May 9th. Saint Denis does not yet have a fight announced, though Alvarez suggested Saint Denis may be preparing for an opponent with a similar style to his own. The Spanish fighter confirmed the arrangement came together after Saint Denis reached out to propose training together.
