Khamzat Chimaev says he won't kill Sean Strickland in upcoming fight

In an interview with Adam Zubairaev, Khamzat Chimaev addressed fan speculation about his upcoming fight with Sean Strickland. When asked if security would need to separate them if Chimaev got Strickland in a submission, Chimaev clarified that he does not plan to kill his opponent, saying that would be haram (forbidden in Islam). Zubairaev pressed for confirmation that Chimaev was not planning to kill Strickland, to which Chimaev responded lightheartedly that he wouldn't be allowed to do so anyway. Chimaev noted that while someone might die on the street, in the cage it is a sport and such an outcome would not be permitted.
