Yoel Alvarez and Benoit Saint Denis training together in Bayonne

Yoel Alvarez and Benoit Saint Denis have begun a joint training camp in Bayonne, France. The two fighters were scheduled to face each other a year ago, but the bout fell through. Now they are helping each other prepare, working under coach Nicolas Ott. Alvarez is scheduled to fight Yaroslav Amosov at UFC 328 on May 9, while Saint Denis does not have a fight announced yet. Alvarez revealed that Saint Denis contacted him to arrange training together and believes Saint Denis may have an upcoming fight against an opponent with a similar style to his own.
