Curtis Blaydes shows respect for Josh Hewitt despite pre-fight trash talk

Curtis Blaydes expressed respect for his recent opponent Josh Hewitt despite Hewitt's behavior and words leading up to their fight. Blaydes stated it would be insincere and hypocritical to dismiss Hewitt as he proved he can fight. While Blaydes said he doesn't like Hewitt's personality or antics, he acknowledged that he respects him inside the octagon when they face each other with gloves on. Blaydes questioned how he could not respect someone who stood across from him and competed at a high level.
