Yoel Alvarez and Benoit Saint-Denis begin joint training camp in France

Yoel Alvarez and Benoit Saint-Denis have started training together in Bayonne, France, under coach Nicolas Ott. The two fighters were scheduled to face each other a year ago, but the bout never materialized. Now they are helping each other prepare for their respective fights. Alvarez will face Yaroslav Amosov at UFC 328 on May 9, while Saint-Denis does not have a bout announced yet. Alvarez revealed that Saint-Denis reached out to arrange the training partnership and suggested the French fighter may have an upcoming bout against an opponent with a similar style.
