Yoel Alvarez and Benoit Saint Denis train together in France ahead of fights

Yoel Alvarez and Benoit Saint Denis have begun a joint training camp in Bayonne, France, under the guidance of coach Nicolas Ott. The pairing is notable because the two fighters were scheduled to face each other a year ago, but that bout never materialized. Now they are working together as training partners to prepare for their respective upcoming fights. Alvarez is scheduled to fight Yaroslav Amosov at UFC 328 on May 9, while Saint Denis does not yet have an announced opponent. According to Alvarez, Saint Denis initiated the collaboration and suggested they train together, with Alvarez believing his French counterpart may be preparing for an opponent with a similar fighting style.
