Joel Alvarez and Benoit Saint Denis train together in France

Joel Alvarez and Benoit Saint Denis have begun a joint training camp in Bayonne, France, under coach Nicolas Otta. The two lightweights were scheduled to fight each other a year ago, but the bout never materialized. Now they are helping each other prepare for upcoming fights. Alvarez is scheduled to face Yaroslav Amosov at UFC 328 on May 9, while Saint Denis does not have a fight announced yet. According to Alvarez, Saint Denis contacted him to arrange training together and mentioned he expects to face an opponent with a similar style to Alvarez's, though he did not reveal the name.
