Joel Alvarez and Benoit Saint Denis have started training together at a camp in Bayonne, France, under coach Nicolas Ott. The two fighters were previously scheduled to face each other a year ago, but the bout never materialized. Now they are helping each other prepare for their upcoming fights. Alvarez is scheduled to fight Yaroslav Amosov at UFC 328 on May 9th, while Saint Denis does not yet have an announced opponent. According to Alvarez, Saint Denis reached out to arrange the joint training and mentioned he will likely face an opponent with a similar style, though he didn't reveal who.
