Joel Alvarez and Benoit Saint-Denis begin joint training camp in France

Joel Alvarez and Benoit Saint-Denis have started training together in Bayonne, France, under coach Nicolas Ott. The two fighters were originally scheduled to face each other a year ago, but that bout never materialized. Now they are working together as training partners. Alvarez is scheduled to fight Yaroslav Amosov at UFC 328 on May 9th, while Saint-Denis does not yet have an announced opponent. Alvarez mentioned that Saint-Denis contacted him to arrange the joint camp and suggested the French fighter may be preparing for an opponent with a similar style.
