Conor McGregor has paid compensation to Artem Lobov following a legal dispute over Lobov's claimed contribution to the creation of Proper Twelve whiskey. Lobov had filed a lawsuit seeking payment for his alleged role in developing the whiskey brand. McGregor reportedly earned over $100 million from selling his stake in Proper Twelve. Neither McGregor nor Lobov disclosed the amount of the settlement. Lobov had previously claimed publicly that he was the one who originally came up with the whiskey concept. The settlement resolves the legal dispute between the former training partners.
