Yoel Alvarez and Benoit Saint Denis training together in France

Yoel Alvarez and Benoit Saint Denis have begun a joint training camp in Bayonne, France, under coach Nicolas Ott. The two lightweights were scheduled to fight each other a year ago, but the bout never materialized. Now they are helping each other prepare for upcoming fights. Alvarez is scheduled to face Yaroslav Amosov at UFC 328 on May 9. Saint Denis does not yet have an announced fight, though Alvarez mentioned Saint Denis told him he would be facing an opponent with a similar style. The Spanish fighter expressed optimism about the training partnership with the French contender.
