Conor McGregor has paid a financial settlement to Artem Lobov to resolve a dispute over the origins of the Proper Twelve Irish whiskey brand, closing a legal chapter between two longtime teammates and training partners.

Lobov, 39, had filed a lawsuit against McGregor claiming he played a central role in developing the concept behind the Proper Twelve brand. The Russian-born fighter, who competes under the Irish flag and trains at SBG Ireland, holds a professional MMA record of 13-15-1. Known as "The Russian Hammer," he built his career as a featherweight and lightweight with a measured striking output of 3.52 significant strikes per minute. His lawsuit alleged that his early contributions to the whiskey venture were never properly compensated.

McGregor, 37, is one of combat sports' most recognizable figures, carrying a 22-6-0 professional record and a reputation as one of the sharpest strikers in MMA history, averaging 5.32 significant strikes per minute at 49 percent accuracy. The Dubliner earned a reported sum in excess of 100 million dollars when he sold his stake in Proper Twelve, a figure that formed the backdrop of Lobov's compensation claims. Both fighters train under the SBG Ireland banner and share a well-documented friendship that dates back years.

Neither party has disclosed the exact amount paid in the settlement. Both McGregor and Lobov declined to comment on the specific financial terms, and the dispute is now formally resolved.
