Gilbert Burns and Mike Malott successfully made weight for the UFC Winnipeg main event. Russian fighters Mark Vologdin and Daria Zheleznyakova also made weight without issues. However, Thiago Moises and John Castaneda required second attempts to make weight. Castaneda had requested a catchweight agreement up to 63 kg the previous evening, which Vologdin accepted. As a result of missing weight initially, Castaneda will forfeit 30% of his fight purse to Vologdin. All scheduled bouts on the card are now confirmed to proceed.
