Magomed Bubulatov, president of the ACA promotion, disclosed candid details about doping in the league during an interview. He stated that more fighters currently use performance-enhancing drugs than compete clean, and that fighters who accept bouts on short notice tend to be the cleanest because they lack time to cycle substances. ACA implemented testing protocols six months ago and allowed fighters time to clear their systems while permitting certain approved substances. The organization is considering one-year suspensions for violators but acknowledged that comprehensive testing is expensive and would require collaboration across all Russian promotions, which Bubulatov believes is unlikely to happen. He indicated that a representative from the medical department would soon make an official statement on the matter.
