ACA president Magomed Bubulatov made candid revelations about doping control in his organization during an interview. He stated that more fighters use performance-enhancing drugs than compete clean, and that fighters taking bouts on short notice are usually the cleanest because they haven't had time to take anything. Bubulatov explained that ACA implemented doping testing, gave fighters six months to clear their systems, and now has data on which fighters are using banned substances. He noted that testing is expensive and suggested Russian promotions should unite to address the issue, though he considers this unlikely. The organization is still deciding whether to publicly release lists of violators or impose one-year suspensions.
