ACA president Magomed Bibulatov has made candid admissions about doping in the league during an interview. He stated that there are more fighters on banned substances than clean fighters in the organization. Bibulatov noted that fighters who accept bouts on short notice are typically clean because "they haven't had time to take anything." The league implemented a testing program six months ago, giving fighters time to clear their systems and permitting some therapeutic substances. However, Bibulatov acknowledged that controlling the issue is extremely difficult and expensive, suggesting that all Russian promotions should unite on anti-doping efforts, though he considers this highly unlikely. He mentioned considering one-year suspensions for violators but stated the organization is still deciding on the best course of action.
