ACA President Magomed Bubulatov has made candid statements about drug testing in the promotion, revealing more fighters test positive than negative. According to Bubulatov, fighters who accept short-notice bouts are typically clean because they "don't have time to apply anything." The organization gave fighters six months to clear their systems and allowed certain performance-enhancing substances. Despite implementing testing protocols, ACA finds enforcement challenging due to high costs and lack of cooperation between Russian promotions. Bubulatov suggested the organization may publish lists of fighters who violate anti-doping policies, though questions remain about future enforcement. The president indicated that addressing the doping issue would require collaboration across all Russian fight leagues, which he considers unlikely.
