ACA president reveals majority of fighters use banned substances in organization

ACA President Magomed Magomedov made candid statements about drug testing in the promotion during an interview. Magomedov noted that fighters taking bouts on short notice are typically clean because "they didn't have time to take anything." The promotion implemented a six-month drug testing program allowing fighters time to clear their systems, with some permitted therapeutic substances. Magomedov indicated the cost of comprehensive testing is prohibitive, suggesting Russian promotions should unite to address the issue, though he doubts this will happen. The organization has considered one-year suspensions for violators but has not yet determined a final policy.
