Carlos Ulberg undergoes ACL surgery, may be out up to 12 months

Carlos Ulberg's manager Ash Belcastro confirmed that the light heavyweight fighter suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament. Ulberg underwent surgery which reportedly went very well, and he is focused on returning as soon as possible. Recovery from ACL reconstruction typically takes up to 12 months, meaning Ulberg may not compete until late 2026 at the earliest. The manager's statement raised questions about whether the UFC should introduce an interim title during his absence. Ulberg's injury is a significant setback for the light heavyweight division.
