Petr Yan has flown to Dagestan to assist those affected by recent flooding in the region. During his visit, he met with Dagestani fighters who helped him prepare for his bout against Merab Dvalishvili. The fighters he reunited with include Kurban Gadzhiev and Sharaputdin Magomedov. Yan was also photographed distributing Snickers bars to Dagestani volunteers.
