ACA president Magomed Bibulatov gave a candid interview about anti-doping challenges in the promotion, stating that more fighters use banned substances than compete clean. He revealed that fighters taking bouts on short notice are typically the cleanest because they don't have time to apply anything. Bibulatov explained that ACA initially gave fighters six months to clear their systems and allowed some therapeutic substances, but testing showed widespread violations. He noted that implementing comprehensive anti-doping testing is extremely expensive and would require collaboration among all Russian promotions, which he considers unlikely. The promotion is still deciding how to handle fighters who test positive, with Bibulatov considering one-year suspensions.
