ACA president Magomed Bibulatov made candid revelations about drug testing in the promotion during an interview. Bibulatov stated that more fighters are on banned substances than clean fighters in the organization. He noted that fighters accepting bouts on short notice are typically clean because they haven't had time to use anything. The promotion implemented a six-month grace period for fighters to clear their systems and allowed some therapeutic substances. Bibulatov acknowledged that drug testing is expensive and suggested Russian promotions should collaborate on testing, though he considers this unlikely. The league is still deciding how to handle fighters who test positive, with one-year suspensions being considered.
