ACA President Magomed Bibulatov made candid statements about doping in his organization during an interview. He revealed that more fighters use performance-enhancing drugs than compete clean. Bibulatov noted that fighters accepting bouts on short notice are usually clean because they haven't had time to use anything. The promotion gave fighters six months to clear their systems and allowed certain therapeutic substances. The cleanest fighters in ACA were those who took replacement fights on short notice. Bibulatov stated that implementing comprehensive drug testing is expensive and would require collaboration among all Russian promotions, which he considers unlikely. He considered one-year suspensions for violators but has not finalized a policy.
